My Week in iPhone Photos-Plus Annie's Bday!

First off, I would like to say Happy Aussie Day to everyone who likes to party! I would love to attend the festivities at the Bilty tonight, but due to lack of rest as of late, I am home sick in bed [or rather preventing myself from getting too sick by forcing bedrest]. This provided an opportunity to update this business. To recount my week I browsed the photos in my Iphone, and I've decided to let them speak for themselves. Soon coming; videos from Annie's birthday party, so stay tuned!

Friends, fun, heaps of snow, and my 'sister's' quarter century barfday.

Life is good!

Day #1 of job #2; Your daughter is a FREAK.

Being broke as a joke, and still needing to purchase a couple more plane tickets, I decided to start cleaning houses.

Joe Singer's mom has a vacation rental house cleaning service, and it's pretty good money for something I already do a darn good job of at home, so I started yesterday.

Not bad, not bad. One house in particular was HILARIOUS.
There were some crazies there.

1. Beds disheveled, which seems normal at first.
2. Sheets feel weird.
3. Boxers found next to disposable camera wrappings in bed.
4. Blankets feel awkward.
5. Bra fell out of blanket [another bed].
6. Sheets from the "bra bed" found in dryer, which means they were really bad if the person felt the need to strip the bed, wash and dry them before leaving, knowing that there's a cleaning service.
7. Broken bed attempted to be fixed by placing a log under it, looked like a drunk move.
8. Hair shavings coating the bath tub, next to a razor.

The funniest part about it?
When we called to report the damages done to the bed, Mary said, "It couldn't have been that bad; the last person there was the owner's daughter!"
Well, home owner, I'm sorry to tell you but your daughter is a FREAK!
Taking pictures of hanky panky, shaving naughty areas, and leaving all your underwear behind?
AHAHAHHAHAHAHA.

Also, what do you think happens when you leave delicious food behind? The cleaners get it!
Good finds;
*Beer
*Popcorn
*French Silk ice cream
*Ketchup
*Unopened bottle of Martinelli's
*Mac and Cheese

Awesome!

In another house I discovered that the owners drink too much Coors Light, pee in their bed, play drums, and empty containers of counting beans in their drawers on top of their clean sheets.

Hmmmmm....

Anyways, weather permitting, I'm waiting on a call to clean a couple more houses. This storm is gnarly!! 7-11 more inches today! Anyone want to shred some 'freshies' tomorrow?
Hmmmm?

As cool as this weather is, it prohibited me from visiting my wifey down in Newport.
Makes me sad. Will someone buy her a plane ticket up, please? We will make you delicious Thai food!!!

Hello, NYC!

Life is good!

I am really happy with my life right now, and even more excited that I finally have a bit of peace.

Other things I'm excited about?

Tomorrow my date with Knoblauch to see 'Book of Eli' has turned into a group date with Melinda, Jenn, and possibly some other girls. Jeff's one lucky guy to be on a date with so many babes! After that, dinner, air hockey at my house, then off to paint Truckee red....with Dirk and Kyle in tow, who are currently on the road. Yes!

-AND-

I paid $10 for a round trip ticket to New York City March 2nd-7th. Manhattan for my [early] birthday with some good friends?
Amazing.
AH-mazing.
I may also stop off in Jersey for some Thai food, and maybe a fist pump or two.

-ALSO-

On Monday I'm driving down with Diggles, Messier, and Ben Rice to visit the wife in Newport...La Cave next Wednesday is definitely going down. It will be a very interesting drive with those kids....hahahaha.

-ONE LAST THING-

I went to Trader Joe's today, got all my favorite foods to last me three weeks, and it only cost me $126!!! Sweet!

:0)
Double thumbs up to you, Life.

So I went SKIING today...

and it was RAD! Had I known, I probably would have started it a long time ago. I was definitely getting my french fries on in parallel turns by the second run....haha. Jeff Metal joined me as well for some laughs. So much fun! And ski poles are lame, so I had to ditch them at the end.

I skied to the bottom to clock back into work, but it was so slow that they said clocking back in was not necessary. Instead I decided to trade my ski boots for some way more comfortable snowboard boots, and go back up the hill.

My snow escapades were followed by a good run and a hot tub, and then Annie's house to pick up my pet snake Phil.

I somehow got dragged into watching an awkward fantasy movie that's way too weird to explain. At least there was a witch-kicking unicorn hero.

Entertaining, nonetheless.

Tomorrow I'm off to the trade show in Sacramento specifically to check out Sabre's new goggle line, coming out next season. Everyone's getting really excited about them, and you should too! I'll be sure to post some interesting photos if I take any.

Hasta luego!

Happy Birthday, Brett!! [Photos]

Yesterday was awesome.

For the past two weeks, Brett has been shoveling up a storm to make an amazing backyard park spanning over about half an acre; wall rides, jumps, transfers, a canoe, trees to tap...the list goes on. The backyard is practically a Disneyland for snowboarders.

A lot of people showed up to ride and hang out all day, and after we went to dinner at Casa Baeza. I'm pretty sure they hated us. Parker of course started throwing food, and Brumsfield, with a blond on either side of him, was shoving sour cream and rice into places where there shouldn't be sour cream and rice. It was a table of really loud three years olds playing with their food, ahhaha. At this point, I decided to just throw down some money and bounce before getting covered in goop and being kicked out.

Dinner lead to Beat the Clock at T-Club, which was also amazing. Lots of good people, good friends, good vibes, good jokes. A lot of good.

All in all, an epic night. Here are some photos from the day, and at the bottom are some photos from NYE.
