A New Friend!
Today David, Andy and I went to Reno to buy a massive couch for my 'game room' downstairs. Of course, after I had bought the couch I asked David to go to the Humane Society to play with animals.
I fell in love with a kitten that I named Speedo who looked like my late cat, Caramello. I loved her. Unfortunately with the new house/furniture, I can't have a kitty yet. Devastated.
On a much happier note, Andy, who was tagging along and not even looking for a pet fell in love with a kitty as well. His named is Eskimo Jack Noodle Stealth Butler III [the third, even though I have no idea who the first two were]. As you can tell, I played a hefty role in naming the kitten. Eskimo because he gives eskimo kisses, Jack because it's halloween and jack-o-lanterns, Noodle because he's really noodley, Stealth because Andy doesn't want him to have a bell so he'll be stealthy, Butler because he's the third and that was the name of the carrier. He has to have a pretentious twist! This kitty drinks milk out of a saucer with one

[he keeps jumping on my computer and erasing things or sitting on the space bar, but that's other stuff he wrote].
ANYWAYS, I love it, and I'm stoked for Andy's new edition to the family!

An Eventful few days!
Well, I'm pretty much all moved into my house now, minus the fact that I have to buy couches and a TV for the game room downstairs. The house is AWESOME, albeit sans internet for the next couple of weeks. It's HUGE; so big that I think I'm going to have to take up gymnastic tumbling just to use the floor space...
Friday night I went to Save the Melons, which was a Boarding for Breast Cancer fundraiser at 50/50. It was a lot of fun, and I saw some people that I hadn't seen since last season. David and I only had 7 dollars to contribute, but hey, it's something, right? A transvestite [or just an interesting looking tall lady] beat me at arm wrestling. I'm so short that I couldn't reach across the table to meet her hand without my arm being almost completely stretched out, so I was beaten before I started. She cheated with her other hand too, so they told me I won by default. Whatever. Good times. I'm actually wearing the 'save the melons' singlet right now, which is waaaaay too big on me and fits like a dress. Rad nonetheless. I only got a few horribly unflattering close-ups of everyone on a broken camera before the battery died...
Saturday I went down to Auburn with Diggles to visit Fletch in jail. He's looking good and blonde. He's super stoked to be getting out soon-ish, and so am I. Fletch has no write ups, bakes pastries and cookies until 1PM, does 700 push-ups and a lot of pull-ups every other day, and keeps up to date with his daily newspapers and subscriptions to Transworld, Snowboarder, and Maxim. He also gets more mail than any other inmate. Hahhahaa. Fletch's ability to make all sorts of people love him astounds me. A couple more months, buddy!!!
Today David is getting the rest of his stuff from his old house [where I am currently poaching internet]. In a bit we're going to rent some movies because i have a playdate with Mr. Johnny Morris who is currently crippled. Maybe we'll visit Annie at work, maybe bake some muffin tops [only]. All in all, a fun little Sunday!
Haahaha.
Here are some photos of the house, mostly moved in, and including my jacuzzi that can fit about three people in it and will be GREAT for my sore back days....
