Agent Orange at Estraparlo

con The Gundown y Turnstyle!
My thoughts on the show;
Definitely fun! Agent Orange was amazing....even though those guys are pretty old and don't move much, the music sounded great! So stoked that I finally saw them...worth every euro.

The venue was rad. It had the main stage and bar below, but there was another small bar and stage area up some metal stairs; which would be cool if you were seeing several bands perform. They also had corn nut can dispensers! Not just any corn nuts, but these corn nuts were 4 times bigger than any I've ever eaten!!!

The opening band was raw and dirty. I really liked some of their songs, although others I could do without. The drummer is definitely the soul of the band; you can tell that drumming is his passion, his love, and his outlet. The drums seemed to be a part of him. He was really fun to watch.

The second band.....not my cup of tea. For what it was, it was good I suppose, but it got as packaged and commercial as punk can get. Nothing stood out about the band. Yes, they had energy, no one messed up, things were completely polished....but there was no heart. Bland. I can definitely see 14 year old girls going nuts for them though.

Oh, and two guys, we will call them Ponytailman and Shortee Mcgee were being hilariously obnoxious with their choice of standing/dancing place. Why, you ask? Well, I'm aware that it's a show. There is pushing, you can't always see, yadda yadda yadda. But, this place wasn't packed, you know? Plenty of places to stand. Both at separate times came up behind me and pushed me aside so that they could stand literally less than an inch in front of me. Every time I would move to one side or another, they would too, all the time keeping a distance of no more than two inches in front of my face. AHAHAHAHAH. It was actually hilarious.

Anyways, I finally remembered how to take crappy videos on my little digi! Unfortunately, after grabbing the camera it accidentally stopped recording during Bloodstains. :[ Oh well. So here you go folks!
