Alright, to update you folks real quick-
I've definitel got back into the Ios lifestyle.
1. I lost my voice. I kind of got it back by gargling vodka, tabasco sauce, sambuca, and lemon. This was a couple shots worth. Nasty, but it helped!
2. I have the Ios cough reall bad. Lung butter is constanty coming up, in a variety of yummy colors.
3. I see the sunrise and sunset every day.
4. I work from 10:30 at night until about 7 in the morning, go to sleep for a few hours, get up at 11:30, go to the beach, kamake for two hours at 4, walk back up, change, and do it all over again.
Hahahahhahaa.
I love Ios. Good to see some friendly faces, and really good to be working and making [crap] money. My budget is 9 euros a night for accommodation, and 5 euros a day for food. Since I just started working, that's my [tiny] budget due to back rent. It's okay though, Feta and tzatziki is making me fat....
My eyes are actually doing pretty well thus far. Cigarette smoke bothers me, but it seems to onl be giving me a cold this time around. David left, but everyone here that met him thinks he's a legend! [you know you want to come back dude!]
Harmony- one of my favorite places in the WORLD opened up the other day. Lovely free buffet, hammocks overlooking the ocean, rock jumps, sunsets, live guitar, drums, friends......The people who fill it if not already become our family. No matter what kind of day you are having, when you go to harmony you instantly become, well, harmonious. Good vibes, positivity, and utter happiness. Harmony definitely keeps you sane with all the craziness that is Ios.
I'm enjoying my time and am a little bummed that in a few weeks I'm leaving to go to Rome.
I know by that point, though, I'll have had enough. It's the people that make Ios, and that is what I will miss. Later I will upload a video of Harmony on my blog.
Excuse my terrible writing and broken English, but I'm a bit fuzzy--Tea hasn't kicked in!
Much love.
