I am off to Rome now, and couldn't be happier!
I'll miss the wonderful people living on this rock; despite all the shenanigans, sexual adventures, and alcoholism that are rampant on this island, the real reason that I love Ios is the people. The people are warm, friendly, have such amazing hearts, and I consider them family.
I won't miss the partying [which I'm over anyways]
I won't miss the drinking [as I rarely drink anyways, I don't feel the need or desire to]
And I won't miss seeing all my friends contract Chlamydia [ewww!]
But, I will miss my friends.....
If I ever do come back, maybe I'll come on holiday for Midsummer and that's it...I've done it, I'm over it, and it's time to move on.
Anyways, here are some photos from the last few days, Skid's bday on the God forsaken pirate ship, my last night at work, and saying my goodbyes.....
