I got a missed call recently from an international number, but there was no message. I googled it and narrowed down the number to Costa Rica or Israel, and it turns out that the call looks to be from Costa Rica, as their country code is 506. I didn't think much of it, I just figured that one of my many traveller friends was giving me a drunk dial or a shoutout. I didn't call back.
HOWEVER, I just read on the BBC that there was a massive earthquake that killed people. I just called the number, it rang a couple times, then the line went dead with a loud "beeeeeeeeep."
Please, if you called me from this number or you know who dead, please please PLEASE let me know.

I live in phoenix az, and received the same phone call on saturday, except I don't know anyone that lives there...weird.
I'm going to leave my id as anonymous but post something with the same phone number if you know anything else.
